Vintage Bibi Japan Hand Painted Teacups & Saucers Set

Beautiful vintage Bibi Japan porcelain tea set featuring two matching teacups and three matching saucers.

The thin, delicate porcelain is decorated with lovely pink florals, green and soft yellow accents, sweeping black scrollwork and distinctive raised white enamel/moriage detailing. Fine gold trim along the rims and handles completes the design.

The underside carries the recognizable Bibi “Made in Japan” backstamp, with ビビ beneath the wording.

The set includes two complete cup-and-saucer settings plus one additional matching saucer. A beautiful example of mid-century Japanese export porcelain and a wonderful addition to a vintage teacup, Japanese porcelain or Bibi collection.

🌸Condition:
Wonderful vintage condition overall with no chips or significant structural cracks observed. There is some age-related wear to the gold trim, a small amount of scattered crazing, and normal production irregularities. One piece has a fine crease/crack-like line that appears to be a glazed-over manufacturing or firing irregularity rather than later impact damage. The hand-painted decoration and raised detailing remain beautiful, and the set displays wonderfully. (See photos for more detail)
