Vintage Lefton Blue Parakeet Bird Figurine KW 1251

Charming vintage Lefton porcelain parakeet figurine featuring a bright blue budgie perched on a sculpted tree branch.

The little bird is beautifully detailed with layered feathering, a pale gray and white face, black cheek markings, yellow beak and vivid shades of blue. The sculpted tree-stump base is accented with green leaves, giving the piece a wonderfully natural woodland appearance.

Marked “Parakeet KW 1251” on the underside, this figurine belongs to Lefton’s KW 1251 series of collectible bird figurines produced in Japan.

Wonderful vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The hand-painted colors and detailed feathering remain attractive. Light variations in the painted finish are consistent with the age and hand-finished nature of the piece. (See photos for more detail)
