Vintage Pink Rose Footed Teacup & Saucer Gold Trim

A beautiful vintage porcelain teacup and saucer featuring romantic deep pink roses, delicate foliage and elegant gold gilt accents.

The footed teacup has a lovely sculpted shape with subtle embossed detailing, a scalloped pedestal base and graceful loop handle. Pink rose sprays decorate both the inside and outside of the cup, while coordinating floral sprays surround the scalloped saucer.

This unmarked set is stylistically consistent with mid-century Japanese export porcelain from approximately the 1950s–1960s. Similar documented Japanese examples feature the same combination of footed cups, scalloped saucers, pink rose decoration and gold trim. (Etsy)

🌸Condition:
Wonderful vintage condition overall. There is one extremely tiny chip along the teacup rim that is difficult to notice without very close inspection; please see close-up photos.
The teacup shows age-related wear to the gold trim, particularly along the rim and handle. The cup is also slightly warmer/off-white in color compared with the brighter white saucer, likely from greater use over the years. The saucer retains brighter gold trim.
No cracks noted. Floral decoration remains colorful and attractive. (See photos for more detail)
